Change the email address of your Todoist account

  1. At the top right of your Todoist, click the gear icon and select Settings.
  2. Open the Account tab.
  3. Click edit next to the email address.
  4. Enter another email address.
  5. Click Save.

  1. At the bottom left of your Todoist, click the gear icon and select Account.
  2. Click Edit below the email address.
  3. Enter another email address and confirm it.
  4. Click Save.

  1. Tap on the menu icon in the top left of your Todoist.
  2. At the bottom of the menu, tap Settings > Account.
  3. Tap the email address and enter another email address.
  4. Tap OK.

  1. At the top left of your Todoist, tap the gear icon.
  2. Tap Account in the list of settings.
  3. Tap the email address and enter another email address.
  4. Tap Done.

You can only link one email address with your Todoist account.

If you want to use an email from a different account, log in to the other account and change the address there first. This way the email will be freed up to re-use on the other account.

If you've been invited to a project or Business team, your email address will become "reserved" in our database until the registration process has been completed.
