Changing the email address on your Todoist account

  1. Open the Todoist app.
  2. At the top right, click the gear icon and select Todoist Settings.
  3. Open the Account tab.
  4. Click edit next to the email address.
  5. Enter another email address.
  6. Click Save.

  1. Open the Todoist app.
  2. At the bottom left, click the gear icon and select Account.
  3. Click Edit below the email address.
  4. Enter another email address and confirm it.
  5. Click the Save button.

  1. Open the Todoist app.
  2. At the bottom of the left hand menu, tap Settings > Account.
  3. Tap the email address and enter another email address.
  4. Tap OK.

  1. Open the Todoist app.
  2. At the top left, tap the settings (gear) icon.
  3. Tap Account in the list of settings.
  4. Tap the email address and enter another email address.
  5. Tap Done.

Please note that you can only link one email address with your Todoist account.

If you want to use an email from a different account, please log into the other account and change the address there first. This way it’ll be freed up to re-use on the other account.

If you're invited to a project or Business team, your email address will become "reserved" in our database until the registration process has been completed.
