Using Todoist with your Calendar

With Todoist calendar feeds you can see all your scheduled tasks inside your favorite calendar app – Google Calendar, iCalendar, Outlook Calendar, and any other calendar that allows you to subscribe with an url feed.

If you use Google Calendar, we have a separate, real-time, 2-way integration for you. Unlike the calendar feeds, changes you make in Google Calendar will automatically sync back to Todoist. Learn more.

Tasks with just a due date will show up as all-day events while tasks with a due date and time will show up as one-hour blocks in your calendar. (For now, there's no way to change the task duration.)

There are two ways to connect your Todoist with your calendar:

The account calendar feed syncs all tasks with a due date and/or time across all projects. A  new “Todoist” calendar will be created in your calendar app of choice.

The project calendar feed lets you choose a single project to sync with your calendar. A new calendar will be created for each new project you connect. You can even share project calendar feeds with coworkers, clients, family, or friends.

For now, these calendar feeds are a one-way sync. Any changes you make in Todoist will be reflected in your calendar, but changes you make in your calendar won’t sync back to Todoist.

It’s not possible to subscribe to a calendar feed on your Android device yet. You can still follow the instructions to subscribe to a Todoist calendar feed from the web app. Your new Todoist calendar will sync with your mobile calendar app as well.

Project calendar feed

  1. Open the project you want to view in your calendar.
  2. Click on the [tools icon] project actions icon in the top right.
  3. Select Project calendar feed.
