If you speak English, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Russian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, or Turkish, there's a Todoist for you.

If your language isn't available yet, all's not lost! We're continually working to support more languages and hope to have yours available soon.

You can either use the default system language, detected and set in the app automatically, or switch it to a language of your choice in the app settings. 

The Smart Date recognition language will be set automatically based on the selected language. In a case where you have chosen a language that our Smart Date recognition doesn’t support yet, it will default to English.

It’s possible to have the app set to different languages across the platforms. For example, you can use the web app in English and your mobile app in Spanish. 

Here’s how to change your language settings in Todoist:

  1. In the top right, click the gear icon and select Settings.
  2. Open the General tab to the left.
  3. Click edit next to the current language.
  4. Select your preferred language.
  5. Refresh the webpage/restart the app.

  3. Under Language select any available language from the dropdown list.
  4. Restart the app.

  2. At the bottom left, tap Settings and then General.
  3. Tap on Language and select any available language from the dropdown list.

  4. Relaunch the app.
